Advertisement Analysis - BYU Web Design Class
found this Advertisement on St. George news this week. Here is the post it was on, but I am not sure it will appear again as it seems to be a random ad. https://www.stgeorgeutah.com/news/archive/2020/09/26/mgk-motorcycle-rider-injured-following-crash-by-red-cliffs-mall/#.X3AdcRBKgdW
This cute ad for Accent Painting has many of the Visual Design features included in it. I like the color, the white space, the font, the focus, the lines of this ad. I will outline each of these:

Contrast:
This add includes contrast in the white space and the colors of Accent they use to Accent the name of the company and the colors of paint! I think it is darling and appealing! Accents of color to Accent their fun business name!

Repetition:
This add uses the repeititon of the same cute Green color to Accent their logo and their call to action to Request a Quote, drawing attention to where they hope the viewer will look.
Alignment:

This ad nearly lines up the title of their company with the call to action. While they are both centered on the page, they do draw attention to the name of the business, and the call to action in the same repetition colors.
Proximity:
The cute colored paint brushes in this ad balance the top and the bottom of this ad with a splash of Accent color. Proximity is their balance and the white space on either side of the ad.

Color:
The color of green in their logo and call to action as well as the green around the paint brush in the center all complement each other! I like the contrasting colors of orange and blue in complementary corners of the ad.
I find this ad appealing and fun! It is eye catching and simple not confusing the viewer with too much going on! I appreciate the simplicity and basic nature of the elements combined to share their message
